
A 24-year-old Zambian caregiver working in Oman has appealed for urgent government intervention to facilitate her return home, alleging that she is being abused and prevented from leaving her workplace.
In an exclusive interview with Diamond News, The woman claims her employer confiscated her passport and residence documents, subjected her to verbal abuse and forced her to work long hours caring for an elderly woman.
She is now appealing to the Zambian Government and relevant authorities to help repatriate her, saying she fears for her safety and believes her life is in danger
