The Zambia National Students Union (ZANASU) has endorsed President Hakainde Hichilema ahead of the 2026 General Election.
Speaking during the union’s Chimpoto Feast, ZANASU President Innocent Nshindano praised the Government’s Free Education policy, saying its implementation has empowered parents by allowing families to invest money previously spent on school fees into businesses and savings.
Meanwhile, Kapasa Makasa Union President Gift Syandwa commended President Hichilema’s economic agenda, saying it has transformed Zambia through the revival of the mining sector and increased investment in agriculture.
ZANASU Vice President Mwanto Kabaso also urged young people to support the country’s development, saying Zambia is on the right path.
