The Zambia Sports Fans Association has urged retiring Chipolopolo skipper, Enock Mwepu, to remain strong as he copes with the news of a hereditary heart condition that has curtailed his soaring football career.
ZASPOFA Patron Peter Makembo says Mwepu needs to remain strong, as this is not the end of the road for him but the start of a different chapter.
Some soccer fans say he should never be discouraged as they are with him in prayers and hope to see him back on the pitch someday.
Meanwhile, U20 national team through Head Coach Chisi Mbewe have dedicated their ongoing game against Botswana to the Chipolopolo Captain.
Chisi describes Mwepu as a dedicated and disciplined player who has positively contributed to the betterment of soccer in Zambia.
