Zambian youth leader James Muleya, recently appointed as the country’s delegate to the United States of America, is set to represent Zambia in the U.S. as a United Nations Youth Ambassador.
During his visit, he will deliver a country statement highlighting Zambia’s progress and challenges in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in gender equality, access to education, and youth engagement.
Mr. Muleya, who serves as a Ward Development Committee (WDC) member under the Lusaka Central Constituency CDF Committee, will also share insights on the importance of grassroots initiatives in driving development and empowering young people.
In an interview with Diamond News, Mr. Muleya disclosed that his participation aims to foster global understanding and cooperation while showcasing Zambia’s commitment to building a more inclusive and equitable society.
