UPND REPORTS ALLEGED IMPERSONATORS TO POLICE IN LUSAKA

.

The United Party for National Development (UPND) has officially lodged a complaint with the Zambia Police Force in Lusaka, accusing several individuals of impersonating party leadership and conducting unauthorized activities.

UPND Media Director Mark Simuuwe says the named individuals, including Patrick Banda and Charles Longwe, allegedly misrepresented themselves as party leaders and made unlawful appointments, actions the party describes as criminal rather than constitutional breaches.

Simuuwe adds that the party’s leadership tenure is guided by provisions of its constitution, which runs concurrently with the republican constitution, and warned that any attempts to undermine this framework through public deception will be met with legal action.
