One victim from Monday’s fatal road accident along Great East Road near Showgrounds area remains in critical condition, while seven others are still admitted to hospital and six have since been discharged.
Levy Mwanawasa University Teaching Hospital Head of Public Relations, Nancy Malitoli, confirmed the update to Diamond News.
Ms. Malitoli explained that the hospital continues to monitor the condition of the critically injured patient, while the remaining admitted victims are receiving medical care.
The accident occurred on Monday in Manda Hill area of Lusaka, where one person died on the spot, while several others sustained injuries.
Initially, four victims were admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in critical condition, while ten others sustained various injuries and were rushed to Levy Mwanawasa University Teaching Hospital for treatment.
