The Lusaka High Court has ruled that the convention which elected Miles Sampa as Patriotic Front (PF) president was justifiable.
Judge Conceptor Zulu also dismissed the consent judgment involving Miles Sampa, Brian Mundubile, and others, stating that holding the convention in the absence of a central committee was justified.
She noted that the party was aware it did not have a central committee to act in the absence of the president.
In this matter, Miles Sampa, Brian Mundubile, and eight other PF Members of Parliament had entered into a consent agreement, which was filed before court, with Sampa admitting that the October 24, 2023 Extra-Ordinary Conference that elected him president was illegal.
