Egyptian Premier League side Pharco FC has announced an indefinite boycott of all CAF competitions, including the Champions League, Confederation Cup, and African Super Cup.
The decision is understood to be a show of solidarity with Senegal following CAF’s Appeals Committee ruling that stripped the Lions of Teranga of their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations title, awarding the Morocco match to the hosts by a 3-0 forfeit scoreline.
Pharco’s boycott extends to any future competitions introduced by the Confederation of African Football until further notice.
The club’s stance reflects growing discontent across the continent over the ruling, with critics arguing that football matters should be settled on the pitch rather than in boardrooms.
