
Government has extended condolences to the Zambian family based in Canadian for the death of 12 year old boy, Abel Mwansa, who was killed in a mass shooting at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School in British Columbia on 10 February, 2026 Canada.
Speaking in a statement, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Coorperation, Mulambo Haimbe has extended government’s condolences to the family who has lost a vibrant young Zambian in a senseless act of violence.
Mr. Haimbe says government has reaffirmed its committed support for fundamental rights to safety and security in all communities.
Government has also sent condolences to the Tumbler Ridge Community for all the lives lost during the shooting and many who have been left injured.
