The Patriotic Front (PF) Central Committee led by Given Lubinda has expelled Mporokoso Member of Parliament Brian Mundubile and several senior party members, accusing them of relinquishing their membership by participating in what it has described as an illegal Tonse Alliance conference.
In resolutions passed during a Central Committee meeting held on 31st January 2026, the party stated that all individuals who attended and took part in the purported Tonse Alliance elections acted contrary to PF rules and values, thereby automatically forfeiting their membership in the party.
Those affected by the decision include Shiwang’andu Mp Stephen Kampyongo, Nakonde Mp Lukas Simumba, Mmpika Mp Francis Kapyanga, Japhen Mwakalombe, Mukushi South Mp Davis Chisopa.
And Lunte Mp Mutotwe Kafwaya, Milanzi Mp Melisiana Chibwe,Feira Mp Emmanuel Tembo, Lazarous Chungu, Abuild Kawangu, Mwila Yumba, Daniel Mwango, and Mr. Luka Monta, among others.
