Copper Queens goalkeeper Hazel Nali says Zambia is ready to compete for World Cup qualification as the team begins preparations for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
Nali described the tournament as highly competitive across all groups but expressed confidence that adequate preparation will deliver the desired results.
The WAFCON serves as Africa’s qualifying pathway to the FIFA Women’s World Cup, with Zambia seeking a return to the global stage.
The goalkeeper, who has recently recovered from a long-term injury, said her focus is on team success rather than individual achievements. Nali stressed that the squad will approach each match with determination as they pursue qualification.
