Barely two months after a shooting incident in Munyama Ward of Siavonga District, Southern Province, where a woman narrowly escaped death after being shot in the neck, another similar attack has been reported.
A 61-year-old woman identified as Loster Hachipoma Moonga has survived a gunshot wound to her left leg during a family discussion.
According to Munyama Ward Councillor Specio Mulaziki, the incident occurred around 21:00 hours. Police officers quickly responded to the scene, and the victim is currently receiving treatment at Siavonga District Hospital.
Police are yet to release full details regarding the matter.
