About 1, 100 students have been sponsored to train in various life skills at Solwezi Trades Training Institute under the enhanced Constituency Development Fund (CDF) skills development component.
And School Principal Ethel Mbewe says the institution is overwhelmed with the high number of student enrolment this year following the introduction of skills bursaries under CDF.
Ms. Mbewe says Solwezi Central constituency has already paid for all the students that have been sponsored under CDF and other constituencies are still verifying the actual number of students that have reported before making the payments to the institution.
