A Seven year old girl has narrated to the court how her 47 year old father defiled her on four occassions in the bathroom at the University Teaching Hospital UTH’s Cancer Diseasea Hospital CDH.
The victim said her father fondled her private part and layed on top of her to sexually assault her during the time he was at her bedside while admitted to the hospital.
She told magistrate Kawama Mwanfuli, that when her father defiled her, she would feel pain, but she never told anyone bacause her father threatened to kill her if she did.
Meanwhile her Mother alleged that her husband denied her an opportunity to accompany or visit her daughter for three months claiming that she would be of no use, since she did not know how to read or write.
She told the court that when she was asked to come to lusaka by the social welfare department, thats when she discovered that her daughters private parts were sore and widened.
The accused has been charged with incest.
Facts before court are that on dates unknown but between September 20, 2024 and March 11, 2025, the accused who was at the bedside, would allegedly defile his daughter at night in the bathroom at CDH.
