Police in Chipata District have launched a manhunt for a 40-year-old man for the alleged sexual assault on his own four-year-old daughter and 4-month-old son.
The case of incest which occurred on October 1, 2025, at the family’s home was reported at Chipata Central Police Station on October 13, 2025, by the victims mother.
Eastern Province Police Commanding Officer Robertson Mweemba has told Diamond News that the victim’s mother reported that she returned from a neighbour’s house to find her husband carrying their crying daughter
The juvenile was half-naked, with her dress pulled up.
Upon checking the child, the mother discovered a whitish fluid on her private parts.
When she confronted her husband, he initially denied any wrongdoing.
However, he later shockingly admitted to the act, stating that no one could stop or arrest him because it was his child.
In a further disclosure, the suspect confessed to having previously sexually abused his four-month-old son and tattooed the infant boy.
Police have opened a docket and instituted investigations to arrest the suspect who is at large.
