A 19-year-old man of Salama Park in Lusaka who allegedly killed his parents has been committed to the High Court for summary murder trial.
When the matter came up for explanation of charge before Magistrate Jacqueline Gondwe, the accused informed the court that he understood the charge.
The accused could however not take his plea because the matter is only triable by the High Court.
In this matter, 19-year-old Bushimbwe Mwakacheya is accused of murdering his parents, Alphonsiah Lubwika and Nathaniel Mwakacheya on 6 August 2022 at their residence in Salama Park.
