Police officers on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, conducted a search at businesswoman Faith Musonda’s house in Chalala, Lusaka.
The search took place in the evening, shortly after Ms. Musonda was charged with criminal trespass.
Police have not yet released a statement on the outcome of the search.
Ms. Musonda is facing the charge of criminal trespass after storming Community House, the official residence of President Hakainde Hichilema, in an attempt to see First Lady Mutinta Hichilema.
Her lawyer, Charles Changano, says his client has not yet been granted bond pending a court appearance.
