The eight Croatians accused of child trafficking have been released on bail pending their trial by the Ndola Magistrate’s Court.
The eight, have been granted bail on conditions that they surrender their passports before court and also avail two working sureties.
In this matter, the eight are said to have attempted to traffic children whom they claimed to have adopted.
Recently, the Ndola Magistrate’s Court had entered a nolle prosequi against them in order to add to the charge another accused person, Gloria Sakulenga, a senior Immigrations officer in Ndola.
Their next court appearance will be on March 1, 2023, for commencement of trial.
