Police in Lusaka are investigating the death of 53-year-old Samuel Mbulo of Kabanana Site and Service, who died at Dream Star Lodge along Great North Road near Chingwere Turn-off.
According to Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga, the incident happened on November 7, 2025, and was reported to Matero Police Station by a security guard identified as Darlington Msoni of Chazanga Compound.
Mr. Mbulo is said to have checked into Room 105 around 16:00 hours in the company of a 34-year-old woman before collapsing around 20:00 hours. He was rushed to Matero Level One Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Police officers who inspected the body confirmed there were no visible injuries, and it has since been taken to the University Teaching Hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem.
Meanwhile, the woman who was with the deceased has been detained to assist police with investigations.
