A 20-year-old grade 8 pupil of Mayota village in Chisamba District of central province has defiled a 3-year 6 months old baby of the same village.
According to details, on January 27th 2023 at around 11hrs the suspect found the infant playing with friends in the bush, lured her with sweets, and defiled her.
Police have confirmed that the infant’s elder brother who was looking for Guineafowl eggs within the same bush caught the suspect in the act.
And police have further confirmed that the victim sustained painful private parts.
The suspect has since been arrested and is in police custody.
