The Ndola High Court has set June 1, 2023 for ruling if the eight Croatians, one immigration officer and one hospitality officer who are facing charges of attempted child trafficking, have a case to answer or not.

Cross Examination of state witnesses continued with assistant Immigration officer Kombe Sakeni stating that the Croatia and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) had nothing to do with the case, apart from the immigration department in Zambia.

Sakeni further told the court that he saw a text message indicating that the Croatians bought the four children at 2,040 dollars each on one of the Croatians phones.
